The Research, Innovation and Enterprise Office has launched an internal strategic funding call which will focus on R&KE activity which could (in the future) enable applicants to be successful in winning external R&KE funding.
The Strategic Research and Knowledge Exchange Fund is an open funding call in order to create opportunities to progress research, innovation and enterprise activity. It also aims on delivering the strategic objectives and KPIs as outlined in the “Shaping Our Future” strategy launched by VP Research, Innovation and Enterprise, Professor Nick Antonopoulos, in academic year 2021-22.
Total funding available is in excess of £100,000 and we expect to fund applications across a range of types and sizes. The size of the initiative will depend on the requirements of the applicant as long as the costings and resources are justified.
Details on how to apply can be found here
