After completing my PhD at the University of Stirling, which focused on the role of artificial odours in human mate choice, I undertook a 6 month post-doc investigating the effects of make-up on self-perceptions which was funded by a popular high street chain.<\/p>\n<p>I am now employed as a research assistant working with <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/psynaps\/alex-mcintyre\/\">Dr Alex McIntyre<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/psynaps\/faye-skelton\/\">Dr Faye Skelton<\/a> in their state of the art 3D\/4D imaging lab. This project aims to create a longitudinal database of 3D4D face stimuli which will allow us to investigate the production and perception of face movements and facial expressions, as well as mapping the facial development of children and adults, and investigating how factors such as health and lifestyle interact with this.
