Run by library staff, the repository includes a wide variety of output types such as the latest journal articles, research reports, conference papers, and digital and creative outputs.<\/p>\n<p>We also make all new <a href=\"https:\/\/napier-repository.worktribe.com\/outputs?page=1&amp;Type=Thesis\">PhD theses awarded by Napier<\/a> freely available in the repository. Theses are among the most <a href=\"https:\/\/napier-repository.worktribe.com\/statistics\">frequently downloaded items<\/a> in the repository, helping to showcase the work of the next generation of researchers.<\/p>\n<p>Just four years ago we were <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/open-access\/15000-items-in-the-repository\/\">celebrating the 15,000th item in the repository<\/a>, which shows how fast the collection is growing. We said then that &#8216;The repository aims to hold records describing every research output which is produced by staff at the University, and also to provide open access to the full-text wherever possible&#8217;. This is still true today and thanks to the &#8216;read and publish&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/open-access\/offset-apcs-2\/\">open access agreements<\/a> that the library has with many publishers, we can make available an ever-increasing proportion of research as open access.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the 25,000th item made discoverable in the repository was &#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/napier-repository.worktribe.com\/output\/3458467\">Simulation-Based Evaluation Of Low Carbon Design Strategies For Extreme Climates<\/a>&#8216;, written by two Edinburgh Napier authors and made open access through the Taylor &amp; Francis read and publish deal.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about the repository?
