They have made available a rather useful <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/183mRBRqs2jOyP0qZWXN8dUd02D4vL0Mov_kgYF8HORM\/edit#gid=0\">DOAJ: journals added and removed<\/a> spread-sheet listing\u00a0the journals which have been added and removed from the list and\u00a0also those that failed to submit an application.<\/p>\n<p>There have been\u00a0over 4,200 journals added to the list since May 2014 and this list\u00a0is current, with the\u00a0date each journal was added to the list\u00a0noted on the spread-sheet.\u00a0Over 2,100 journals failed to submit an application and\u00a0were removed from the DOAJ. The reasons for removal from the list are given at the top of the spread-sheet and include\u00a0&#8216;Suspected misconduct from the publisher&#8217;, &#8216;Ceased publication&#8217;,\u00a0&#8216;Journal not adhering to Best Practice&#8217; and &#8216;Malicious website&#8217;.\u00a0The date of removal from the list is noted.<\/p>\n<p>There is a link to the DOAJ application form that publishers were required to complete on the &#8216;Added&#8217; tab of the spread-sheet.
