GRAPHIC NOVEL KIT
‘Graphic Novels’, Mangas, Webcomics, Comic Books -whatever you call them , the idea is the same. A story told, not just with words, but also with pictures. Plainly said: ‘A picture story with annotations’. While this is a very simplified definition it’s a great overview of the concept. The first Comics were created in the 1840s in Switzerland, and they have grown in popularity since then; beginning with early examples like ‘Naruto’ (Manga, 1999), ‘The Amazing Spiderman‘ (Marvel, 1962), the first Batman Stories (1939, DC).
