href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/36\/en\/New_features\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3.6<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/37\/en\/New_features\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3.7<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/38\/en\/New_features\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3.8<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/New_features\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">3.9<\/a>.\u00a0The most noticeable changes from the upgrade will include,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Building courses<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/images_en\/7\/71\/TurnEditingOn.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Turn editing on<\/a> is a bright new button, the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/images_en\/e\/e2\/NewActivityChooser.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Activity chooser<\/a> can star and view recommended activities and resources, and <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/H5P\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">H5P interactive content<\/a> is now fully integrated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Navigation<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/36\/en\/Recently_accessed_items_block\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Recently accessed items<\/a> block may be added to the Dashboard, either positioned in the centre or to one side. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/File:BookNavigation.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Navigation in the Book<\/a> has been made clearer, and quickly <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/File:GoToTop.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">move to the top of the screen<\/a> to reduce scrolling.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Messaging:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/36\/en\/images_en\/4\/40\/36docsnewmessaginginterface.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New messaging interface<\/a> with greater control over who can message you, along with the ability to star messages and engage in group messaging. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/37\/en\/images_en\/3\/3f\/DocsMuteMessages.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Other enhancements<\/a> include a link to a full page, two column view and the ability to mute conversations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resources:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/37\/en\/images_en\/b\/bc\/DocsBookPrint.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Print books or chapters<\/a> in books with a more attractive output, Teachers can <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/37\/en\/images_en\/8\/8d\/DocsTeacherHiddenBookPage.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">view hidden chapters<\/a> in a book with the editing turned off.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assignments<\/strong>: <a allows students to remove their choice in an MCQ, a built in <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/39\/en\/Safe_Exam_Browser\">safe exam browser<\/a> to improve security during quiz attempts, the <a homepage<\/a> such as activity deadlines and the number of submissions.
