On the top menu, click on <strong>More<\/strong>. <br>From the drop-down menu, select <strong>Course reuse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1185\" height=\"711\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/learningtechnologyhub\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2024\/01\/CourseReuse.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5554\" style=\"width:564px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choose <strong>Import<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"670\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/learningtechnologyhub\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2024\/01\/CourseImport.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5557\" style=\"width:510px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rest is a straightforward process of selecting the course to import from and the materials you wish to import.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/napier.cloud.panopto.eu\/Panopto\/Pages\/Sessions\/List.aspx#folderID=%22ef13baf1-0e8b-4d2c-94f2-ac6800cad28c%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VIDEO: Import content from a previous course to a new course<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Backup &amp; Restore method<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This above method is the best option for most use cases. However if you wish to copy content from courses on different Moodle tenancies (e.g. from the moodle.napier.ac.uk to moodlecommunity.napier.ac.uk) you will need to use &#8216;Backup and Restore&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click the <strong>backup<\/strong> link and select the course items to be included in the backup file. Follow the prompts to create the backup file and then download it to your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"670\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/learningtechnologyhub\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2024\/01\/CourseBackup.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5559\" style=\"width:509px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now go to the course which is to receive the content and click the <strong>Restore<\/strong> link.
