Attached images are displayed in the forum post.<\/p>\n<p>Different subscription options are available: optional, forced or auto, or prevent subscription completely.<\/p>\n<p>If required, students can be blocked from posting more than a given number of posts in a given time period; this can prevent individuals from dominating discussions.<\/p>\n<p>See these staff guidelines to <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/learningtechnologyhub\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/37\/2017\/07\/Moodle-Forums-and-Emailing-Students.pdf\">Moodle Forums and Emailing Students<\/a>\u00a0and these <a href=\"https:\/\/ask.napier.ac.uk\/article.php?id=642\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">guidelines for students<\/a> on managing emails received from Moodle.<\/p>\n<p>Forum posts can be rated by teachers or students (peer evaluation). The email is sent to both the student Moodle account and to their university email account.
