This self-guided walking tour leads you through Edinburgh old town and unveils the curiously wood-related history of Scotland’s capital. You can follow the below map, or find your own way across town while listening to history-, wood- and tree experts. There will be lots of opportunity to further explore on your own, also through online material should you not have the time to do so in real life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the step-free alternative route (Google maps).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route above is a suggestion that allows you to see the most iconic parts of Edinburgh old town. The total walking time for the route is ca. 40 minutes (2.9 km) and the total listening time is 47 minutes. Of course, you can also find your own way through town, and you don’t have<\/em> to listen to the stops in order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
