Purpose of Study: The purpose of this research is to Explore the Perception Of Nurses About Potential Occupational Exposure To Cytotoxic Drugs and the use of Personal protective Equipment across the UK.

Who Can Participate: If you are a practicing nurse that handles chemotherapy in the UK you are eligible to participate?

Procedure: In order to participate you need to complete this online survey. Your participation in this online survey is completely anonymous. No information you share electronically can be traced to you or the computer you used. Your participation in the survey indicates you read this consent information and agreed to participate in this anonymous survey. Depending upon the depth of your responses, participation time varies from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.

Risks of Being in the Study: the research team do not perceive that there will be a risk to being in the study as this is about your current clinical activity.

Potential benefits: Research participants will be contributing to the understanding of how cancer nurses are perceiving and experiencing the potential of occupational exposure to cytotoxic drugs and the use of personal protective equipment across the UK. This will also help understand the variation or consistence across the UK by region.

Anonymity: Your participation in this research is completely anonymous. No information you share can be traced electronically to you, the computer you used, nor can you be traced by any information you provide. Data will be kept stored in a secure drive within the university system. Only the Edinburgh Napier University research team will have access to the data.

As a participant please, refrain from mentioning individual names and place of work when answering the questions. This will ensure you anonymity

Voluntary Nature of the Study: Your participation is voluntary, and you may refuse to participate or withdraw at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled. You may also refuse to answer certain questions. A decision to participate or to withdraw, will not affect your cancer nursing status.
