{"id":558,"date":"2022-06-16T15:26:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T15:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/social-informatics\/?p=558"},"modified":"2022-06-15T16:14:23","modified_gmt":"2022-06-15T16:14:23","slug":"online-safety-and-digital-literacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/social-informatics\/2022\/06\/online-safety-and-digital-literacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Online Safety and Digital Literacy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>A study of online safety and digital literacy of academic researchers working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.napier.ac.uk\/people\/david-haynes\">David Haynes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napier.ac.uk\/people\/rachel-salzano\">Rachel Salzano<\/a> at the Centre for Social Informatics presented a paper at the ASIS&amp;T 24 hour Global conference on 27<sup>th<\/sup> April 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Survey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A survey of staff at Edinburgh Napier University identified the risks to online safety and privacy faced by researchers working from home during the pandemic.
