The students were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/napier-repository.worktribe.com\/person\/2947831\/drew-feeney\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Drew Feeney<\/a>, from Edinburgh Napier University, speaking about his PhD research into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/social-informatics\/2024\/03\/phd-presentation-new-clicks-developing-user-led-digital-literacies-in-older-adults-within-scottish-public-libraries\/\">developing user-led digital literacies in older adults within Scottish public libraries<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/pureportal.strath.ac.uk\/en\/persons\/gbenga-adetunla\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gbenga<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/pureportal.strath.ac.uk\/en\/persons\/gbenga-adetunla\">\u00a0Adetunla<\/a>, from Strathclyde University, speaking about his PhD research into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bruce_Research\/status\/1785309225427648544\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">developing a sustainable strategy for improving digital skills of university library professionals in Nigeria on automated library operation<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/palikavithana\/\">Palika Vithana<\/a>, from Robert Gordon University, speaking about her PhD research into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bruce_Research\/status\/1785315053996015655\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acceptance by users of mobile augmented reality applications for academic library services<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Benjamin Holder, from Strathclyde University, taking about his Masters research into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bruce_Research\/status\/1785315053996015655\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the impact of reading and meditation on mental health<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aims of the event were (1) to enable research students to talk about their research to representatives of library communities; (2) for attendees to gain insight into current research and emerging topics of interest from the LIS research community.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was introduced by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/aminatshah\/?originalSubdomain=uk\">Amina Shah, National Librarian of Scotland<\/a>, and hosted by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rgu-repository.worktribe.com\/person\/72605\/konstantina-martzoukou\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Konstantina Martzoukou<\/a>&nbsp;from Robert Gordon University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Live tweets from the event are tagged:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/StudentResearchShowcase24?src=hashtag_click\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#StudentResearchShowcase24<\/a>.
