{"id":1542,"date":"2025-11-12T13:39:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T13:39:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/publicengagement\/?p=1542"},"modified":"2025-11-12T13:40:37","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T13:40:37","slug":"remembrance-and-reconciliation-exhibition-at-craiglockhart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.napier.ac.uk\/publicengagement\/remembrance-and-reconciliation-exhibition-at-craiglockhart\/","title":{"rendered":"Remembrance and Reconciliation: Exhibition at Craiglockhart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">We are delighted to announce that the Edinburgh Napier University Craiglockhart Campus is hosting an exhibition\u00a0<b>\u201cRemembrance and Reconciliation\u201d<\/b>, from\u00a0<b>10 November \u2013 13 November 2025<\/b>, alongside colleagues from the Consulate General of Germany.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The exhibition centres on the fate of British Army soldiers killed in Kutenholz, Northern Germany, shortly before the end of the Second World War. Among the fallen was Robin Tudsbery, whose parents later founded the Robin Chapel in Edinburgh in memory of their only son. The precise circumstances of his death, and that of his fellow soldiers, have come to light through the dedicated research of the German volunteer association <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heimatverein-kutenholz.de\/\">Heimat- und Kulturkreis Kutenholz e.V<\/a>., based in Lower Saxony.
