About Session

Newly qualified nurse Yin Wang from Hefei, China, will discuss what it takes to become a nurse in China and the challenges for new graduates.

Yin took undergraduate study in Harbin Medical University in China and then completed postgraduate study in The University of Edinburgh. Her postgraduate dissertation is a proposal about nurses’ attitudes towards caring for HIV patients in China.

 

Fiona Bastow, Facilitator
Fiona is an experienced nurse and lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University. Fiona is currently doing research exploring the experiences of student and newly qualified nurses
