Guidelines for submitting a conference poster

  1. All posters should be produced at A1 size (84.1cm x 59.4cm)
  2. Please arrange for your poster to be printed. The internal print services email is printservices2@napier.ac.uk and they request that you send your file in as PDF format.
  3. The more time you can give print services the better, however at the very latest, print services ask that they receive PDF files by Monday 15 June in order to have the poster ready for you by Wednesday 17 or Thursday 18 June 2015.
  4. When you are sending your electronic file to the printer, please copy in AcademicDevelopmentEvents@napier.ac.uk so we can upload your poster on the website after the conference date.
  5. If you have not already, send us your precise poster title and all contributor names as soon as possible, so that we can mount these as a list on the conference website.
  6. The poster boards will be located in the Rivers Suite, Craiglockhart and will be ready for you to display your poster from 12 noon onwards the day before the conference (Thursday 18 June). We ask that all posters are displayed by 9am on Friday 19 June. We will supply the sticky tape needed to hang the poster so all you need to bring is the poster itself.
  7. You are free to collect your poster between 4-5pm on Friday 19 June. All posters that are not collected by 5pm on Friday 19 June will be taken to Room 5.B.29, Sighthill and stored there for one month, after this time they will be re-cycled. To arrange to collect your poster from 5.B.29, Sighthill please email AcademicDevelopmentEvents@napier.ac.uk
  8. If you would like ideas and examples view the posters from previous conference websites (under ARCHIVED CONFERENCES menu option)
